The Name of the Artist  was a collective performance conceived by Ugron Lajos for the closing of the exhibition The Shape of Species/ Forma speciilor*

Who is the artist? This was the most frequent question at the opening of the exhibition The Shape of Species. The absence of labels creates uncertainty for the viewer. Yet the lack of information delivered textually, as we are so often accustomed to receiving it, becomes a valuable opportunity to establish a direct relationship with the work. To look at the artwork versus reading about the artwork; to see the image before knowing anything about it.

From this premise emerged the idea for the draft The Name of the Artist. The closing of the exhibition was a collective performance conceived by Ugron Lajos, with the participation of the artists:
