The Later Edit exhibition reunites the 13 projects carried out under the Draft Curatorial Program over two years, emphasising a curatorial research method according to which the stages preceding an actual exhibition are approached as stable moments and, at the same time, as elements of a fluid itinerary.

Draft began in 2018 as a form of negotiation between artistic situations in the process of crystallisation and the solutions of presentation which they could take in a certain moment of the production process. For many of these projects, Draft represented the proper framework to test its functionality in a real confrontation with the public, or to generate the work in its stage as an idea, by means of a collective and participative intervention.

Without preferring a certain format, adapting to the specifics of each idea proposed by the artists, Draft was configured in an accumulation of experiences which operated with sometimes ironically critical approaches, some other times serious and solemn, almost ritualistic ones. No matter if it was about self-reflexive questionnaires or about those oriented towards the external world, the projects were mainly based on relationships and interactivity. The fragility of the balance between the pre-defined and unforeseen was assumed by artists through gestures and action such as the deletion of pages in the personal notebooks from primary school, the direct, constructive or destructive intervention upon some sculptural objects, the configuration of an imaginary geography based on personal feelings and emotion, the return of all the books from the library into the given space, orchestrating and interpreting a musical score composed of animated graphic elements with the help of some musical instruments, the collection of testimonials regarding anxiety, the evaluation of some sensors' interactivity in order to generate bright signals on the map of illegal land clearing or the transmission of messages via mail to the most important art institutions in the world.

Later Edit resumes all these projects at a later stage of their existence providing a simultaneous image, in a common space, of what has been accumulated in time regarding the concept meant to present artistic ideas in a visual form with an intermediary and uncertain status.
